A beautiful MANDOLIN made of more than one type of wood, includes Rosewood.
Very decorative design on back of instrument as well as front. One string
detached, but even without that string, the sound produced is very resonant.
Measures 24 3/4” length, 8+” greatest width, 24 1/4” greatest circumference.
Case is obviously worn: one latch intact, missing handle. I am not well
informed on stringed instruments, but feel free to ask questions. Tonk, the
maker, was originally in NY and also located in Chicago in the early 1900s.
