Delaphine Grace Rose Wycoff (1906-2001) was a noted microbiologist,
bacteriologist, author and educator. She received 3 degrees from University of
Wisconsin, Madison, including her Ph.D. in bacteriology. She went on to teach,
publish, and serve as Dean of Women, at Wellesley College [see 'Biographical
Dictionary of Women in Science,' p. 1141].
